It provides great opportunities to make breakthroughs in asana practice, detox your body/heart/mind, and more deeply integrate your individual self with the greater reality. The Immersion is perfect for those wishing to delve into the practical and mystical practices of Jivamukti Yoga.

Friday 21 July

19.30 - 21.30 - Hot, Hip and Holy

We will heat you up and work you hard in this funky detoxifying Jivamukti master class that will lead you on a voyage of Self discovery fuelled with love, laughter and devotion. From the ancient teachings from Master Patanjali we take the core teachings of yoga and make them accessible and relevant to how we live in the world today.

Saturday 22 July

10.00 - 13.00 - Asana Practical - Backbends + Assists

Here we look at the mechanics of the asana. Starting with a deep back bending workshop and looking at the associated chakra correlation and moving into working with partners on how to assist this grouping of asana and how we can work deeper into these poses.

This interactive asana creative problem-solving laboratory will explore practical ways to achieve more flexibility, balance, safety, freedom with yoga assists and in-depth look at asana.

This workshop is for both teachers and practitioners who would like to deepen their understanding of asana, focusing on the basic techniques of applying safe and practical hands-on assists as well as verbal and energetic assistance. Through partner work and the exploration of asana we learn how to assist and support others while improving our own practice in the process.
