Exploring Prana Vayu: A Yin & Yang Workshop

In this workshop we’ll trace the movements and directions of breath and its energetic counterpart Prana - our energy or spark of life - exploring the model of Prana Vayu (movements of Prana). These movements underlie everything we see around us and within us. Every aspect of a yoga practice like asana, pranayama, bandha, mudra or chanting is created and supported by these movements of Prana.
Flowing through postures with an awareness of the movements of Prana can enhance the flow of breath and create freedom and space in areas that feel held or tense, helping us to find better alignment.
Cultivating the same attention in still poses promotes a deeper awareness of the connection of body, heart and mind and creates a sense of balance and ease.
